Please help!
Had a XP install on drive d: working fine. Old XP on drive C: deleted manually. Formatted drive with Partion Magic. Made a new XP installation on C And now I am asked during start which installation I want to use. When I say "installation d:" I get a message that "configuration of hardware to HD prevents the system to start. What can I do? |

I wanted to install on c: and did so. That's fine. But now I cant use XP on drive D: I dont get through in the upstart. When I prompt the installation on my old drive D, it says: due to configuration of hardware and HD - no acces.? "C" is primary master!
Is "D" secondary master with jumper set as master, cable select or single drive? Hi,
It may happen the partition was driven corrupted. In this case I suppose Active@ partition recovery tool is capable of helping you. It's algorithm is great so I'm pretty sure that will solve your problem. http://www.partition-recovery.com/ |
