Greetings and thanks in advance!
I upgraded a Windows 2000 Prof machine to XP SP2 using the XP upgrade package. Everything works fine in XP. When the machine is booted I get a choice to boot the new XP OS or option 2 Windows 2000. I would like to remove the dual boot option and just boot XP directly from the restart. -- Tom |

Edit BOOT.INI in the root of C: to remove the reference to the older system,
make XP the default, and reduce the delay to 0. Then you can remove all remnants of Win 2K if you're sure it must go. Glad to help!!
Thanks for the green check mark. I'm trying to collect as many as possible. I have a brother named Tom, also. Sorry to see you working on a Sunday. Happy Holidays to you, too!!
