I am having problems getting drivers loaded using RIS (as many people in
this newsgroup seem to), related in an earlier post. In many of the articles I find, it is required to restart the BINL service. I dont have that service. Is it specific to Win2000? Is there an equivalent service in Windows 2003? Thanks, Bob |

BINL Service is the Remote Installation Services service on the RIS host
server. You can restart it from the Management console of the server (or remote management) or from a command line with the net stop/start -binlsvc command. -Bill "Bob Friendly" wrote: > I am having problems getting drivers loaded using RIS (as many people in > this newsgroup seem to), related in an earlier post. > > In many of the articles I find, it is required to restart the BINL service. > > I dont have that service.
