Default Direct X Direct 3D

Whenever I try to play some games a message comes up saying Error 25: A
critical error has occured while initializing direct 3d. I have ran the test
in dxdiag and the result said: Test failed at step 8 (creating 3d device):
HRESULT=0x8007000e (out of memory) could anyone tell me what is wrong and if
there is any solutions

Is your graphics card capable of 3D? Is this the latest version of DirectX?
Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card and what make/version
is it?

Are you trying to install Intel drivers because you have Intel
(onboard) graphics? If so, what is your chipset (you must know this if
you downloaded the drivers)?
