The monitor on my sony notebook has suddenly changed. Upon booting up, the
monitor screen appears split into four sections. There are four identical images of windows xp running side by side and there are four indentical cursers. I can still navigate as one window and curser is working "normally". I went to the bios and the screen is split there also. I went to system restore and restored computer to day previous to onset of this problem. A sony tech over the phone said it is probably a damaged video card ($700 repair). Any other recommendations? -- canyonlady |
