Default Finding recorded shows from Windows Media Cnter

I have my PC with Media Center on my computer upstairs. It recordes my TV
shows and such. I have my main TV the next floor down. I have a DLink Media
Lounge (http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=318&sec=1), a wireless media
player than connects to my PC upstiars to stream music, video and photos to
my TV downstairs.

What I would like to do is have my PC record my TV shows, then access them
via the Media Lounge and watch them on my TV downstairs.

But I have no idea where Media Center saves the TV shows once they are
recorded. Anyone know where I can find them?

By default, it is stored in...
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Recorded TV

If you changed the drive letter inside MCE, it is stored in...
<Drive letter>:\Recorded TV

If you changed the drive letter in the registry/TweakMCE, then you wouldn't
be asking, as you would know about it <g>

Note that the DLink won't play back dvr-ms files (that MCE creates)

You'll need to use a tool loke DVR2WMV (you can find thisin the download
section of http://thegreenbutton.com) to convert non-copy-protected dvr-ms
files to wmv format. Once this conversion is made, you can play the files
on your DLink device.
