Depends on what video editing software you have. Basically a VOB is an
MPEG2 file..... You can import a VOB to Roxio's Videowave, Nero's Recode, Cyberlink's PowerDirector and Intervideo's WinDVD Creator. You cannot import it into MovieMaker. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging "chriskq" <chriskq.1wpups@pcbanter.net> wrote in message news:chriskq.1wpups@pcbanter.net... > > hello all, > i've tired very hard to find a simple answer on the net but with not > much luck. > > i have a .vob file that is about 680mg that id like to compress/convert > into a mpeg or avi type of file (so can use in a webpage and in flash) > > does anyone know if there is a simple way of what im talking about. > Dont really want to have to buy software > > is what im asking easy? or is it that i just think it should be easy - > lol. > > cheers > > > -- > chriskq |
