Find below the application and system error logs. One further point advised
by another user with same problem that videostudio would work if you set up a new user account. I tried this and it did work? However it still won't work in the original user account. Advised subsequently by that person that videostudio has since stopped working in the new account (same problem) Application Log:- Event type - error source - Application error category - none I.D. - 1000 Description - Faulting Application vstudio.exe, version 9.0.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault adress 0x00000000 error report also state:- c:\docume~1\username\LOCALS~1\Temp\19ed_appcompat. txt SYSTEM LOG (shows error but at initial computer boot up (probably related as refers to Ulead type files) type - error source - service control manager category - none i.d. - 7000 description:- The AVerMedia, AVerTV WDM Video Capture service failed to start due to the following error: The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled device associated with it.
