Yahoo. and it oculdnt attatch the file. I tried both a large 7 minute clip &
a 1 minute clip and nothing got attached. Perhaps I need a program to change
the file type? dunno how. I can tell you that I have Windows Media player,
Real one, Roxio, and Dell musicmatch jukebox installed on my pc now. could I
use any of these.

hi rusty, i used to have the same problem:

depending on the size of the avi file, most internet email sites
(hotmail.com yahoo.com) wont allow you to attatch large files, and even
if they do,
sometimes the block certain file types that could contain malicious
code, an easy way round this is to use WinRAR and split the avi file
into smaller (say 2mb) .r## files (where ## is a number between 00 and
99) then attach each smaller file to seperate emails and the recipient
just has to use WinRAR to extract the file with the extention .r00 and
this will gather all the other rar files to form the origional .avi

WinRAR is available from www.rarlab.com

Hope this helps, EBB

You can upload it (FREE) to www.yousendit.com. If you send the email to
yourself, you can then choose who you want to send the link to. It's valid
for 7 days and/or 25 downloads, whichever arrives sooner. You can upload up
to 1gb.
