Everything has been great so far. I used WMM and then AVS video converter
program. I uploaded, edited, and made a DVD. Now, when I put the DVD of my movie in to play, I can't fast forward to the next scene. I guess my DVD player is reading it all as 1 scene. I want to break up my DVD into scenes so I can fast forward to certain scenes so when I play my movie i can fast forward. HELP! |

Hey,
I have only just recorded my first 2 files onto DVD, and I couldn't fast forwerd either. I thought it was something wrong with the remote, but maybe that's the way it is. Does one have to do something in the video editor to break the file up into scenes? Any ideas, anyone? -- Cheers, Trevor L. All the dvds I've mnade have been able to fast forward, if you want to go
from one chapter to another, then you need to use dvd authoring software to make the chapters. Graham,
I have 2 video editing products: Panasonic MotionDV STUDIO LE for DV and Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3.5 Suite Deluxe. Whether both can be described as DVD authoring, I am not sure. Probably the latter can and will allow chapter settings. I am still quite new at this. -- Cheers, Trevor L. I'm not fully sure what motiondv does, but movie factory will definately
make you chapter points, or allow you to make them ![]() -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Trevor L." <tandcl@homemail.com.au> wrote in message news:uXZUTiR2FHA.3492@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > Graham, > I have 2 video editing products: > Panasonic MotionDV STUDIO > LE for DV and Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3.5 Suite Deluxe. > > Whether both can be described as DVD authoring, I am not sure.
