Recently, anytime I try to play any video, my screen will go black and I can
hear the audio. When the video is through, the screen stays black. I have to reboot the computer. I have: WinXP Pro Ver 20002 Service Pack 2 with all the latest updates Windows Media Player Ver 10.00.00.3802 |

If you are trying to play an AVI file, then you must have the correct codecs
installed on your PC.
