I devloped video capture application from viual basic 6.0, in that
application video previewing and recording as working perfectly in AVI
format, from sony digital handycam, but in that sony digital handycam i can't
compress with any codec, but at the same time i can compress from logitech
webcamera at any codec. my question is why i can't compress at any digital
handycam? any one can reply this question as much as possible plz.

You may find the windowsmedia newsgroup more help as the more techie people
