Default CCTV?

I have a CCTV camera and have connected it to the video port on the back of
my packard bell pc, how can i get the cctv to appear on screen?

Is the video port an in port? Most are out ports.
What software came with the video port card?
Does this not have settings to choose the source video?

its an out port, i can change the cctv to an out or in setting,im not sure
what the software is

As it's out only you'll never get it to work, you need an anaolgue in port,
and software to go with it.
