When I try to play a DVD from Windows Media, I get a message error saying
that, "Playback failed due to a problem with the video system. Lowering your screen resolution or color depth may fix the problem." I've tried that & it doesn't work. I played DVD's on my computer a few months ago. This didn't happen then. What's the problem? -- sbutts |

Ensure you have a dvd playing software installed for teh codec which WMP
will use, something like windvd. Update it if you do have it. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "sbutts" <sbutts@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news 1410F23-5016-490C-BBA8-AE9E36A6C03B@microsoft.com...> When I try to play a DVD from Windows Media, I get a message error saying > that, "Playback failed due to a problem with the video system.
