When I try to capture video (in Moviemaker, say) the error message is "a
video capture device was not detected". Connections are good; I have re-booted, etc. I use firewire (DV), XP, and a JVC GR-D20 camcorder. Can anyone help? Bill |

When you first connect the digital camcorder to the PC, do you hear the
