I have transferred analog video clips to a DVD. Now I would like to import
them to Movie Maker but that cannot be done as the format .IFO is not valid. Can I convert the files into a valid format? What program do I need in order to do the conversion? -- Movie Maker Learner |

If Movie Maker will cooperate (rarely) you simply rename the VOB extension
to MPEG. However WMM is not designed to edit MPEG files and often will refuse to import the file. Try a third party editing option like PowerDVD, WinDVD Creator, Nero and/or Roxio. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging "Jaho" <Jaho@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:84C52789-3190-4C34-97D2-EA06AFC49F08@microsoft.com... >I have transferred analog video clips to a DVD.
