Default Movie maker transition problem

Please help. I made a slideshow/montage on my movie maker but when I saved
the file to my computer the quality of the transitions got messed up.
Instead of cross-fading two images there is a blury haze. Why? WHY!

Moviue maker is essentially a video editing app. You could read this about
using stills as the size etc make a greeat deal of diference in how MM works
with them. Also using Bitmpas instead of Jpegs often helps.

For a puerely slideshow movie, use photostory 3, free from MS, download link
here

as this is designed for stills.
