Well, I've created a monster. In my search for the perfect software to
convert files of the above memtioned format to DVD Disk I've tried a few different packages. Not being happy with those I've removed them from my Hard Drive. (Now here's the Monster) I also it seems removed my computers ability to recognize the DVD Drive and the CD Burner and a Vertual Drive I have on board. Whats the method by which I might regain this function???????? Yours truely NOOB |

Do you not have any system restore points available to you, even days ago?
It should make them automatically unless you were really ****** and turned it off ............. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "Disk NOOB" <DiskNOOB@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E4481F4D-BABC-4D17-A760-8820B19EC2B0@microsoft.com... > In attemping to reload hardware through Device Manager message returned is > 'drivers missing or corrupt'. Try this (not too sure if it works or not in your case though):
"Restore CD/DVD Drives to Explorer" http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_d...cd_dvd_fix.htm Follow the brief directions on that page.
