Can anyone suggest a free and EASY to use product for kids to convert movie
maker files to mpeg or avi files. Cheryl |

yes I would also be interested becasue I understand an avi file is more
user friendly. I tried a search and most download software have so many limitations. One would only convert 5 minutes of the video. another would brand "unregistered" all over the video. |

You can convert with windows media encoder 9 series.Get the codec

Movie maker will make avi's
http://www.myvideoproblems.com/Tutor...SaveDV-AVI.htm This should mport into any authoring software such as nero/roxio/windvd creator or whatever came with your dvd qwriter adn this will make your dvd and encode the avi to the suitable mpeg and then vob files for you.
