I'm currently using Nero 6 OEM and it is thus far easy enough to use.
However, when I have completed building my movie project and burn it onto a DVD, the quality of the video is not the same as the mpeg I'm using. I can run the mpeg using Windows Media Player and the video quality is excellent, just as I recorded it off my cable (using WinTV PVR-350, an excellent product, BTW). When I create the DVD project and either create it to my hard drive or burn it to a DVD, the video quality is worsened. It looks fuzzy and not as crystal clear as it was in the original mpeg, either from the DVD or from playing the vob files on the hard drive. Is there a product out there that will not degrade the video quality when you create the DVD project? Nero is pretty good, but I want to be able to do better. To you who respond, thank you for your help. Dave |

It possibly re-encoding the file, and compressing a cpompressed file is no
good. I don't use nero to do this, but look for a do not re-encode compliant files option, or choose and app which has this facility, Ulead do several. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "FlooseMan" <FlooseMan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4B838EDC-4292-4FC7-99FE-D8750500B0DA@microsoft.com... > I'm currently using Nero 6 OEM and it is thus far easy enough to use. > However, when I have completed building my movie project and burn it onto > a > DVD, the quality of the video is not the same as the mpeg I'm using.
