Here's one I haven't been able to find suitable answer for just yet...
I am unable to view streaming media of any kind in IE. Well..sort of... See, if I go to msnbc or other sites to view newsclips, I can view only the advertisement that is presented before the actual clip I want to see. After the ad completes, nothing happens at all. However, if I go any other site like wwe.com of abcnews.com and try to view a clip I get nothing at all. The window opens, and the player states that it is connecting to the media, but does nothing beyond that. This problem only happens on websites. I am able to view streaming media in winamp and others that access streaming content from sites like tvgold.com or webrats, etc. This problem begun to get just a little more than annoying now that my daughter needs to access certain streaming media for classes and get really whiny when she can't do it. (12 year olds are REALLY good at being whiny.) Any help here would be appreciated. Jay |
