If it's only a couple of months old, surely it's under guarantee? Contact
the store you purchased it from or the manufacturer of the card and have it replaced. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies, Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "cuoctinhtay3" <cuoctinhtay3.1zy22a@pcbanter.net> wrote in message news:cuoctinhtay3.1zy22a@pcbanter.net... > > my Gforce FX5500 256MB bough for two months, it was find at first but > after that, it have that pink screen problem, but the videocard and the > heatsink have no dust, it clean. so i try different video card, and the > out come that everything fine, but when i switch back to GForce card in > again, the pink screen came up again, sometime, it switch back to normal > screen for few minutes then it return to pinkscreen. i wonder if that > cause by the videocard heatsink, not cool enough? can i change the > heatsink of that videocard? or what's wrong with that? > > appreciate for reply > > > -- > cuoctinhtay3 |

It seems that you have two problems.
A bad video card. A mfr that will not blindly exchange it. But will exchange or repair it if you send it in. What is it that you need help with that someone can provide thru this newsgroup?
