Will be receiving upgraded computer back with new MOBO running two nVIDIA
7800 GTX 256MB video cards in SLI mode. I have been on nVIDIA's web site, and I understand that I have to run both cards in "single GPU mode" (versus dual GPU mode) in order to be able to run up to 4 monitors (each card has two DVI inputs). I have two DVI monitors. Wondering if it makes any difference how I plug them in to each card...one monitor in each card, both monitors into one card...who cares as long as they are both plugged into a graphics card, etc ....! I know how to configure XP to support multiple monitors...just wondering if how the monitors are plugged in makes any difference. TIA for any assistance anyone can provide... |
