I have a brand new dell 5150 with a 1905 19" monitor. The display is
distorted to be more tall and narrow than normal. Very noticable with photos - but text is also affected. I contacted dell and explained the problem and asked how to adjust it. They said I needed a new monitor and sent me one.(thank you very much) but did not solve the problem. Does anyone know how to make this adjustment? The buttons on the the monitor provide a menu but there is no command to address this issue. Help! -- Russelloffslyzowskie |

Since a new monitor did not resolve the issue, one must assume the
problem is elsewhere. Depending on your graphics hardware, you may be able to make adjustments by going to Display Properties > Settings > Advanced, locate the tab for your graphics driver, and go through the various options to see if controls for image size/position are available. You may also want to try to start Windows in Safe Mode to see if the problem is still present,. If not, then the problem is with your graphics software or its settings. |
