I have a windows media player file and I am trying to import it into Windows
Movie Maker and when I try to play the file an error message appears. Do I need to convert the Winows Media Player File into another file type? And if I do what do I need to do so? |

What is the file extension of the file you are trying to import?
What is the exact text or the error message? -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies, Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "suavemadman" <suavemadman@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5476EAE2-52D2-45E6-AFBD-C73A25CED1A6@microsoft.com... >I have a windows media player file and I am trying to import it into >Windows > Movie Maker and when I try to play the file an error message appears. Convert it to WMV or AVI first. WMM sometimes has problems with MPEG files.
