Hi
When browse with Internet Explorer and open a movieclip, it opens oldish mplayer2.exe instead of wmplayer.exe. All this happened after I did run a regsvr32 bat file that reregisters many dll files. Had a problem with Windows Update and I did get a bat file from a friend that did fix it, but now I have a media player problem. My friend has also same problem and he has not found any solution for it. Have tried to recreate file extensions but with no success, even when I choose wmplayer it opens mplayer2. Please help me out with this... |

I imagine the easiest thing to try is to reinstall WMP (whichever
version you have). I believe the setup files are within the WMP folder itself, assuming you previously had it. Otherwise you can download it from MS. |

Found a solution for it;
"Windows Media Player 6.4 is embedded in Web pages even when Windows Media Player 9 Series or Windows Media Player 10 is installed" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891736/en-us This solved my problem, thanx anyway ![]() /mikaw |
