I'm trying to save my movie to a CD but keep getting the message that files
are missing or deleted. But all the files in the project are in the same folder as when I started. Is there any way to tell which files are problematic? I've checked the properties for each file, and they're all where they should be. HELP! |

And me too!
I posted the same plea on 20/12 under "Error Message....Source files missing" Do hope there is help out there, but suspect I will have to follow the indirect advice given by Wojo on his website http://www.remember-christopher.dost...eb/index.html/ about splitting! I am hopeful I will then to able to 'isolate' which import is causing the problem. I am also going for a fairly massive upgrade of my 'puter, because 'film producing' does require much more power and space on HD than I ever thought possible. Sorry I could not be of more help! Do let me know if you receive a better solution to our problem! Also check out www.papajohn.org cannot cave my movie.
Files that may cause this sort of trouble are Mpegs for video, non dv avi files (such as divx avi files) MP3 music, Jpeg stills. Best to use wmv or dv-avi for video, wav/wma/wmv for audio and bitmap for stills. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.co.uk www.dvds2treasure.com www.simplydv.com "GreyhairedDirector" <GreyhairedDirector@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news 3560959-2444-4777-AB79-8C19F8D6873E@microsoft.com...> And me too! > > I posted the same plea on 20/12 under > "Error Message....Source files missing" > > Do hope there is help out there, but suspect I will have to follow the > indirect advice given by Wojo on his website > http://www.remember-christopher.dost...eb/index.html/ > > about splitting! > > I am hopeful I will then to able to 'isolate' which import is causing the > problem. > > I am also going for a fairly massive upgrade of my 'puter, because 'film > producing' does require much more power and space on HD than I ever > thought > possible. > > Sorry I could not be of more help! > > Do let me know if you receive a better solution to our problem! > Regards > Mike > > > "monk" wrote: > >> Welcome to the club.....This is my problem as well...have been looking >> for a >> solution to no avail.... >> >> "SoreTooth" wrote: >> >> > I'm trying to save my movie to a CD but keep getting the message that >> > files >> > are missing or deleted.
