when ever i close window,specially internet explorer my monitor has the
effect instead of just disappearing it has like a falling down curtain on my monitor i have a nvidia fx 5200 a lcd monitor ,200 gig harddrive ,1gig memory. |

It sounds like the refresh rate may be too low.
