WMP10 used to be able to play a series of videos one after the other in full
screen, without reverting to window mode after each video stops and the other begins... however this is no longer possible! I didnt change anything... this is strange! When the first video finishes and the other begins it snaps out of full screen mode, and goes to window mode, and I have to get up and change it back to full screen mode. I tried reinstalling WMP10 but nothing changed... any ideas? |

I found the reason for the strange behaviour!
I am posting this in case other people has the same problem.. and indeed I have searched google groups and many people do have the same problem and no one (until now) has offered a solution! The problem in my case was that I used a tool from www.divx.com called DivXToolbarToggleTool.exe that stops the DivX icon from appearing in the system tray, since it was irritating, I disabled it with the above tool. However that was when the problem started. I re-enabled the icon with the same tool and presto! It was ok again.... I suspect that others have the same problem when using the divx codec. So I have to offer a possible solution. Uninstall the Divx codec they have now, and reinstall the latest from the www.divx.com site. If they have a problem using another codec perhaps they should reinstall the codec they are using.
