Sherlock just tells you what codecs are installed and whether properly so; it
does not have the facility that GSpot has of seeing what codecs a given file needs. Video Inspector is one I use :http://www.kcsoftwares.com/index.php?vtb
It also has great feature showing if codec that was used to cereate file is installed on your system or not and has button which allows to download needed codec. And it's free! |
