I did a clean install of computer XP SP2, installed the latest ATI video
drivers and all that stuff, have tried to capture from camcorder - but all I get is a dang blank preview screen & no capture. This happens with movie maker as well as Vegas, looks like M$ has 'fixed' XP again (no troubles prior to SP2 of course), if only Linux had some decent capture and video editing stuff I'd change over in a flash (can't afford apples!). Looks like a reformat job and switch back to SP1!!!! |
