Because of a previous problem it was suggested that I change the size of my

starts to flicker. I don't get a choice to change the rate as I only have

setting".

No Cari, there is only the one choice as previously mentioned. There is an
"Advanced" section but it and everything else is greyed out.

Actually, the whole computer appears to be slower.

There is also a Troubleshoot tab beside the Monitor and that is showing
"Full hardware acceleration" - if that helps.

Let's see what DirectX identifies it as:

Start, Run (type) dxdiag (enter)

You should find out what graphics card or adapter (built in) you have by
letting it go through it's 'collecting information' then clicking on the
Display tab.... Let us know what it says in the Device box.
