Yes.... you have an ATI graphics card!

As Graham has already posted, visit the ATI website and download and install
the latest drivers for your card.

Default Re: Screen refresh rate

My problems are still not over. Now i know what has happened.

After running Startup Inspector for the first time, the program responded by
saying that ATI was not necessary at startup. So I removed it from startup
and then went and removed it from the system using "Add/remove programs". Now
I don't know how to reinstall as when I do a search for ATI, a heap of files
are listed.

I went to the website as suggested by Graham and there are three parts to
the download, the second being from the original install disk which I do not
have, as the computer came with ATI installed. I cannot get past this point
to download an upgrade.

I advised ATI of my problem and sent a copy of the Everest report which
showed that ATI was my graphics card but they didn't reply to my email as
promised.

Now I am stuck in which direction to go next. Any suggestions please.

Use system resatore to go back to the point before you removed the ati
drivers from startup.

I tried 4 different dates Graham, but none of them were successful.
Error message was - Restore incomplete.

Looks like i may have to get a new graphics card. Yes/no?

Default Re: Screen refresh rate

I will try them again and let you know.

All the ATI software is still on the computer, all I need to know is which
..exe file I need to open to reinstall.
