Default saving avi files to disc

I can view the avi files in Windows Media player but when I try to burn to a
disc, I get an error message that reads, "Windows encountered a problem when
trying to copy this file." What to do?

With which applications are you trying to burn the files?

I have a question that is similiar to this issue. I was able to download,
save, and burn to a dvd disk all in one step, but I did not move all of the
files to the storyboard and I could only play my opening title from the DVD.
So I moved all video files to storyboard and I saved it. But when I try to
"Save to DVD' it tells me I need to save it again. How can I burn the file
to disk? Do I need to use Nero to burn separately. Does movie maker only
burn when through the wizard when staring from step 1? I have v2.1.
Thanks,
Ken
