I am planning to buy a computer which has Windows Media Edition 2005.
To that computer I will be connecting two display devices: my existing (4:3) LCD monitor (the primary display device) and my High Def (16:9) television (the secondary display device). Can I configure Windows Media Edition to output to the displays in different aspect ratios? Or can I only set it up for my primary display device (the 4:3 monitor), thereby meaning that the picture on my widescreen television will be distorted? Thanks. |

I believe you should be able to have the two different configurations
thereby displaying the correct aspect on each (providing you have the correct graphics card), but to check you should ask the MCE gurus who hang out in the microsoft.public.windows.mediacenter newsgroups. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "Mahns25" <Mahns25@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3B68FF15-06D9-44F1-9217-0DDB984CD17D@microsoft.com... >I am planning to buy a computer which has Windows Media Edition 2005. > > To that computer I will be connecting two display devices: my existing > (4:3) > LCD monitor (the primary display device) and my High Def (16:9) television > (the secondary display device). > > Can I configure Windows Media Edition to output to the displays in > different > aspect ratios?
