Default Error Messages on Media Player

Hi. I am trying to downloads video and photos from my digital camera. I
have not had problems previously, but now when I try to do it (connecting
thru the USB port), I get the following messages:
"Cannot copy mov0005: the parameter is incorrect"
when I push ok, then I get a request to synchronize the settings. When I
puch ok, I get "Windows media player cannot modify the synchronization
settings at this time. Try again later."
Why is this doing this now, and what can I do about it?
Thanks

Have you thought about using a card reader?
