Default my computers address

how do i find my computers numeric address. all i get isits name in system
info and i'm trying to est. a connection to try go to my pc to use a t1
connection with my home computer. but all i need to know is how to find the
address

http://www.whatismyip.com/
(on the computer in question.)

If it is connected DIRECTLY to the internet (bad idea these days) - then you
can open a command prompt and do an IPCONFIG.
If you are using a router and connecting to it - you need to forward the
port on the router to the system in question.
