Default Printer redirect question

I need a little help.
I have a question regarding printer redirect in RDP.
I am using Remote Desktop host is a XP Pro
remote is xp home.
Do I understand that the drivers for the printer has to be on both
machines for it to add the printer automatically?
If so on the Host machine do I have to install the drivers or can I
download the drivers and put them in a Windows folder and if so where.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Default Re: Printer redirect question

If you are trying to use the host printer (XP Pro) through a RDC session,
you must have the
host printer driver (not software) installed on the client (remote) computer
which by your own admission is the XP Home computer. I would have the
drivers in the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\PRINTER DRIVER - that which you
name which is the printer name folder.
