Okay, had a meeting with the project manager yesterday.
This is what we need: A desktop shering program (much to the likes of netmeeting) but, when certain pop-ups are viewed, computer A should not be able to see them. So, A shares their desktop with B. B takes control of A's desktop, and when certain boxes pop up on A's computer, A should not be able to see them. What we have to work with: The program which resides in A's computer, the one that B will be using when he logs remotely into A's computer, is written by us. We can determine where, how, what size the pop-up box will be. I thought we could have two monitors hooked to B's computer, making A have only one. I thought to code the pop-up to always be off-frame to A's side, always poping up on B's second screen. Now, the problem is: Netmeeting doesn't let me do this. I tried it last night. Are there any other desktop sharing programs which might? I've never used PC Anywhere.. Would such program act the same way? |
