Applications through browser without software install

Hi people,

Is there a way to run remote windows applications on a server through a
web browser *without* installing any software on the client machine?

I do not know very much about Terminal Services. However, if I choose
Terminal Services + TS Web Client to do this then I'd have to install
software on the client machine to enable the browser to do this,
correct?
