Hi all,
I was able to connect to my work computer (XP), using RDWC from home but only for one time ( first try) . After I logged off I couldn't connect anymore. I am using a netgear wireless router ( I've forwarded the 3389 port), I've checked my firewall ( Zone Alarm ) and that the host IP ( my work computer ) is on the trusted zone list. My ISP blocks port 80. Why was I able to connect the first time only? Now I am getting a time out error. The 3389 port was not forwarded when I connected first time, basically I have just downloaded the tswebsetup.exe from microsoft, installed it and it went through immediately. What can be wrong ? Thank you, George. |
