Default Interactive End User Support using Remote Desktop (Terminal Servic

Hello,

I want to be able to, as either the Administrator or Remote Desktop User
take control of users PC's (using XP Pro with Remote Desktop enabled) and
resolve issues they may have. Please note, I want the local user to be able
to see the remote user actions through the Remote Desktop session.

Accordingly, what options need to be set/configured in the following path:

Console Root\Local Computer Policy\Computer Configuration\Administrative
Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\

First guess would be to set the following:

Limit number of connections: Enabled and 2
Allow users to connect remotely using Terminal Services: Enabled

Any help or clarification of my "First guess" approach on this would be
appreciative and my boss will LOVE me for implementing this process.

The bottom line is you can't unless your in a Windows 2003 environment...

Otherwise look at Remote Assistance...Open "Help and Support" and search on
the string 'remote assistance' for further information.

Al,

Thanks. I just was confused in that my first guess theory would seem this
could happen. Just goes to show truth trumps facts however they are written
and misundertood by the end user. You are truly and expert and thanks for
your assistance!
