Is is possible to have an internal modem be able to answer both Remote
Desktop dial in's as well as windows XP Fax?

I have a Conexant D850 pci modem and Windows XP Pro. This pc has been
my fax machine. I would also like to dial in and make a Remote Desktop
connection using the same phone number.

Right now, if I disable the Fax Receive function, the Remote Desktop
connection will answer in two rings. If I enable the Fax Receive, then
the fax software answers the Remote Desktop call in five rings. Since
the fax software answers the call, I get no Remote Desktop Connection.

Is this a modem problem or is it a limitation of Windows XP fax
software?

Any workarounds?
