Remote Assistant error on intial opening of remote desktop

When I try to open a remote desktop session I get the black screen, the
windows logo and then an error message as follows: fsStart() generated error
481, 'Invalid picture', inside FAILSAFE.BAS

Does anyone have know what this is?
