Default Runs script before VPN connection / Turn off Windows Firewall

Since Windows firewall considers a VPN connections as a "special connection"
I was wondering if anyone knows a way that I can run a script when the vpn
connection is started?

Currently we have the Windows Firewall disabled when on the coporate LAN or
wireless network. We would like to do the same when a user is VPN in.

not sure why you want to disable firewall while using the VPN, but you can create a batch file to disable firewall and then establish the VPN. this link may help,

How to vpn automatically 1. Add pre-setup VPN auto-connection by CMAK to the Startup. 2. Create a logon batch with rasdail command to start the VPN connection. ...
