Default I travel a lot so what is best..?

I have a small store that I need to monitor sales, inventory etc that
are entered daily into the store computer, running XP Pro sp2 connected
via dial up.
I will use my laptop also running xp pro sp2 to access the stores
computer. I will do this after working hours and no one will be
available to accept any command request.
My question is what programs should I install on both computers in order
to access the stores computer remotely unassisted?
RDP, RDP web, VPN or VCN?
Which one should I use?
TIA,

The best way to do is RDC over VPN. Or just use Remote desktop connection.

TS/RDC over VPN Save or export a VPN client settings for others. To use TS/RDC over VPN, normally you need to establish VPN using the VPN username and password first. ...

Ok great and thanks Robert. One more question...when I stay in a hotel
with Internet connections in each room will I need my own ISP in order
to connect to my stores computer over RDC or can I just log on using any
ISP anywhere?
Thanks

In most cases, you can access your store from any Internet access except their firewall blocks you. However, you must know your store's public IP address. Hope you have static one. Otherwise, you need to setup DDNS. Good luck!
