Hello,
I have enabled port-forwarding on my router/LAN to allow me to access one of my home PCs from outside. I use the browser access option by accessing my router's WAN IP address at port 5800. This works fine from friends' PCs and from internet cafes, but not from work. At work, I tried both IE6 and FireFox, and both failed. Is it possible that the company's firewall is able to block web access to specific ports? If so, is there anyway to overcome this? I thought about using a HTTP tunnel, but the only one I found is at www.http-tunnel.com, and this doesn't support VNC. Can anyone help? Many thanks, Paul |
