I have a network with 3 XP Pro computers on it. Its behind a VPN Firewall
Router. I have 1 domain and 1 workgroup. The domain has 2 PCs (and a server 03) and the workgroup has 1pc. The workgroup computer has IIS and TSweb loaded and working great (Router ports open). Is there a way that I can log in (RDP WEB) and control the other computers from the workgroup computer? Thanks |

By the way... If your connecting through a VPN to your network why even
bother with the web based method? Why not simply use the normal Remote Desktop client and address each PC you want to access directly. IMHO the web method complicates the issue particularly since your already connecting through the VPN tunnel. I do that to access my home LAN and XP Pro PCs behind my firewall. In my case I use a Secure Shell (SSH) tunnel versus a VPN... -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows Networking) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us... We use a VPN for remote location access (5 locations all have VPN Hardware)
and use RDC. I would like to login to a server or pc from any web browser anywhere outside of the vpn(without a VPN client). I am not sure of SSH yet as I have no experiance with it...
