Can I dial in from my laptop to my broadband desktop computer. If so, can
anyone give me directions on how to do it. My broadband connection at home
is through comcast.

If you mean you dial into your ISP while traveling or your at a public
wireless hotspot then see this page for help using Remote
Desktop...Basically you would call the public IP of your home PC or router,
ie. the IP assigned by Comcast.
