Here is your situation in a nutshell.

Your office computer is more than likely behind a firewall/NAT device.
First issue at hand is that you have to get through that firewall and you
really need the assistance of your computer tech support at the office to do
that. Second - they will likely need to do some sort of port forwarding -
and they may not be willing to do this just for you. Third and fourth - you
may or may not have the firewall on your workstation at the office and you
may or may not have enabled remote desktop on the work computer.. not to
mention you may not even have the rights needed to do either thing..
Again - your work computer support would probably need to be involved.

Simply put - without full control and knowledge of what you come to the
table with - no one here can instruct you on what you need to do beyond the
generalities.
